A monthly memory café offering an opportunity for those with memory loss and their family carers to come together and enjoy activities, refreshments and friendly chat.
This activity is good for wellbeing because

What to expect
The group meets in the café at Cherry Hinton Hub on the third Tuesday of each month from 1.45 - 3.45pm. It is a space for those experiencing memory loss and their family carers to spend time in the company of others who understand.
When you arrive you will be greeted at the main library entrance by a friendly volunteer, who will show you to the table. Tea and coffee is provided and everyone is given a sticky label with their name.
Different dementia friendly activities are provided at each session, including jigsaws, games, painting, and cognitive resources such as crosswords.
The session lasts for two hours, but you do not need to stay for the whole session. It is a friendly informal space.

There are two disabled parking spaces outside the library and further parking in Colville Road carpark behind Cherry Hinton Village Leisure Centre. The number 1 bus service stops close by.
The building is accessible and there are accessible toilets.
The group is free to attend, donations are welcome.
