Cambridge United Foundation – Premier League Kicks

Back to Activities

Cambridge United Foundation run several free sports sessions for children and young people during term time. Some are football sessions, in others you can play volleyball, table tennis, table football and card games.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • You can get active, have fun and spend time outdoors;
  • You can meet new people, socialise and form new friendships;
  • Taking part in sports and physical activity can improve your mental wellbeing –improving self-esteem and confidence.

“My friends have been going since the start of the year, but I never really enjoyed football. They said that there were other things to do, so I decided to go. I now go on Thursday and Fridays every week and I have even started to join in the football, but I enjoy the volleyball most”.
