Cambridge Veterans Club is a group of serving and ex armed forces members. They organise socials, events and outings for armed forces members, veterans and their families.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- You can become part of a friendly community with people who have had similar experiences
- You can get help and support from those around you who may have faced similar challenges
- It can help give back some of the feeling of ‘belonging’ that many veterans lose when they leave service

What to expect
Cambridge Veterans Club is open to veterans and serving members of the armed forces, as well as their families and friends. They meet once a month to chat, laugh and banter with each other, and to find help for those that need it.
The meetings are on the fourth Sunday of every month at the Joint Service & Veterans Club on Barnwell Road, usually from 2pm onwards. They are an opportunity to meet fellow veterans and feel like being 'back in the fold'. There is often a raffle and buffet, sometimes music, always a lot of laughter. The group also discuss plans for outings and events throughout the year. There are opportunities to volunteer to help run events if you like.
New members are always made to feel welcome and introduced to everybody. You are welcome to come on your own or bring family, friends or carers along with you. If you feel unsure about attending or have any questions you can email cambridgeveteransclub@yahoo.com

The Joint Service & Veterans Club has disabled access and facilities. Baby changing facilities are also available. There is ample parking on the gravel outside the venue. There is a licensed bar and tea and coffee are provided.
Access to the club and most activities are free of charge.
You can pay to take part in raffles (cash or card).
