Cherry Hinton Hub is a welcoming community space with a library, meeting rooms, event space, and community café. The meeting rooms and café are run by volunteers from the Cherry Hinton Community Benefit Society.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- The Cherry Branch café brings people together for friendship and delicious home-cooked food. You will always receive a warm welcome when you visit with friends or on your own;
- The Hub runs regular events to bring the community together, ranging from themed food evenings, talks, classes, and much more;
- There are lots of volunteering opportunities - whatever you enjoy doing, from gardening to IT, there will be a role for you. You'll get to meet lots of people and contribute to running an important community facility.

What to expect
Everyone is welcome to come along to the Hub to use the library, enjoy the café, book a meeting room, or join in the events and activities. Visit the website for information on opening hours.
The Cherry Branch café is open five days a week and serves hot and cold drinks, cakes, sandwiches, toasties, sausage rolls, jacket potatoes, and soup. Vegetarian and vegan options are available and they can cater for dietary requirements.
There are some regular weekly activities at the library including Rhymetime and Storytime for families, and a digital drop-in for adults. Find out more on the website.
There is also a variety of one-off events and talks. Visit the website for information or follow the Facebook page for updates. Events are bookable so that the team can keep track of how many people are coming (usually 50 max). There will always be someone at the door to welcome you to an event, and they are happy to answer any questions beforehand.
There are lots of opportunities to volunteer at Cherry Hinton Hub. Visit their listing on Volunteer Cambs to find out more about roles that are available. They will provide support and training.
