Find Your Wild is all about encouraging people to make the most of the outdoors - and making it accessible to all. They run a variety of workshops and events throughout the year helping people learn new skills and connect with nature.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- You can enjoy the great outdoors and try things you might not have done before
- You can meet new friends
- You can learn new skills and how to be creative in the wild.
‘I made a wind chime, chatted and drank coffee – then we went for a gentle stroll where I saw a part of Cambridge I had not seen before. It was my first trip out and I loved every second of it. I will be back!’

What to expect?
Find Your Wild helps people rediscover some of the lost bush craft arts. You can learn a whole host of new skills from: foraging (looking for food), spoon carving, camp fire cooking, weaving (using willow to make tree decorations and crowns), cordage (making rope from brambles and nettles), and many more.
They also offer guided walks, where you can learn about nature and enjoy some gentle exercise.
They also provide activities for children and young people. These include toddler groups, mud kitchens (probably as messy as it sounds) clay work, and many more. There are refreshments on hand for parents.
