Fitness Rush Mobile

Back to Activities

With the Fitness Rush community initiative, you can take part in one-to-one or group training sessions in a state-of-the-art mobile gym. You will work with a personal trainer to increase your fitness and improve your health and wellbeing.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • It helps improve your physical wellbeing;
  • Physical activity can help to maintain and improve mental wellbeing;
  • It’s an opportunity to be social and interact with others.

‘I have started, enjoyed and benefitted from the Fitness Rush wellness initiatives and would recommend it to anyone looking to increase their physical and mental health in a non-judgemental environment.’ –  Fitness Rush attendee.

What to Expect

Liam from Fitness Rush is an inclusive trainer and can work with people at every level of fitness and ability. Liam will chat with you to find out where you are at with your fitness journey and what your goals are.  He will create a programme that is enjoyable as well as challenging.

If you are over 18 years old and currently out of work, come and join Liam to learn and train. People who may be anxious  can attend with a friend, key worker or other professional.

For some programmes participants will gain 12 weeks of tailored one-to-one or small group training (up to 4 people) and a Level 1 fitness qualification in Healthy Active Living.

It’s advised that you wear comfortable sports clothing and trainers. Don’t forget to bring some water so you can stay hydrated.

More Information

Fitness Rush was created by Liam Rushmer more than 10 years ago from his parents’ garage when he learned the art of bodybuilding through nutrition and exercise.

The Fitness Rush fully equipped state-of-the-art customised van has been developed over many years and takes to the road so people can access a gym/personal trainer experience wherever they are and in privacy. The van is also heated and air-conditioned to keep you comfortable.

Some community initiatives are funded and therefore free.

Private personal training does cost per session/series. Please email Fitness Rush for more information.
