HI Friends Forget-Me-Not Journey Support GroupBack to Activities
Forget-Me-Not Journey Support Group is for those living with memory loss and those who journey with them. Brought to you by HI Friends but open to all, not just Histon and Impington residents.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- meeting people who have similar experiences can make us feel less alone;
- living with memory loss can make socializing difficult but everyone in the group is understanding and supportive;
- getting out of the house and doing something different is daunting but the sense of achievement afterwards feels great.

What to expect
Jan leads the Forget-Me-Not Journey Support Group for those living with memory loss or dementia and their carers/companions. The Group aims to help people meet and share concerns, ideas, opportunities and experiences in a relaxed and supportive space.
The group meets every two weeks on a Tuesday – to find out about dates, please contact Jan.
Light refreshments are provided and venues are wheelchair accessible and have free parking.
You don’t need to book or to attend every session – just come when you can. If you’d like to have a chat with Jan beforehand, you can reach her via email or on the phone (see contact info).
There is also the Forget-Me-Not Luncheon Club which meets every two weeks – more information here.
Donations towards costs are invited.
This activity is organised by HI Friends.
