What to expect
The group meets on Thursday mornings during term time at 9am at the Duck Pond at Cherry Hinton Hall Park. There is a video below showing how to walk to the duck pond from the car park. The session lasts one hour in total.
You will be greeted by Anna who runs the group. Anna will lead a warm-up, and then lead the group in a loop of the park, you can choose to either walk or jog. When you reach certain 'treasures' in the park (benches, red boxes, and mill stones) you are invited to complete the allocated exercise for that object (squats, burpees, press-ups and star jumps). The group then goes to the tennis courts to play some badminton and other games. The class finishes with Anna leading the group in some stretches and a cool down.
The class is designed to be inclusive of all abilities. All exercises are optional, and you are encouraged to participate at a pace that suits you.
