What to expect
Sessions are divided between social isolation and companionship days, and dementia care days. Social isolation and companionship days offer attendees an opportunity to meet other older people from the area, participate in a variety of activities and enjoy a two-course lunch. Dedicated dementia care days offer exactly the same services, but activities focus more on reminiscence.
The dedicated team of qualified care staff provide a person-centred care experience from 10am-4pm, including activities such as arts and crafts, exercise, gardening, bingo and beyond! All staff are fully trained in all aspects of care and support needs including personal care, medication administration and safeguarding.
Refreshments are offered throughout the day, as well as a two course light lunch.
