You’ve Got a Friend in Me Club at Cherry Hinton Care Home

Back to Activities

The 'You've Got a Friend in Me Club' is an opportunity for anyone in the local community to come to Cherry Hinton Care Home to enjoy a hot drink and some company. It is a great way to meet new people and there are sometimes guest performers too.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • it provides an opportunity to chat with other people which can reduce loneliness and isolation;
  • you can connect with your creativity and try new craft activities;
  • you can feel part of a warm and friendly community.

What to expect

The ‘You’ve Got a Friend in Me Club’ is held every other month on a Thursday. It is open to residents of Cherry Hinton Care Home and their families, and also anyone in the wider Cambridge community who would like to come along for cake and company! Complimentary tea, coffee and cake are provided. At some sessions there are live music performances and other activities.

When you arrive at the Care Home speak to the person at the reception desk and they will direct you.

For more information on upcoming sessions contact Scott Brooker on 01223 816 170 or [email protected].
