Cambridge Samaritans

Back to Support

Samaritans is a nationwide charity available round the clock, every single day of the year. Whatever you’re going through, you can call them on 116 123. Samaritans volunteers will listen to you in confidence and without judgment.

Jon’s story:

Cambridge Samaritans is an independent, local charity completely run and staffed by volunteers. It is part of a national network of 201 Samaritans branches.

It has a building in the heart of Cambridge with approximately 150 volunteers that support the national helpline and outreach events in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. Volunteers support the 24 hour listening service, and also provide support in schools, colleges and to the residents of Littlehey Prison.

Please be advised that Cambridge Samaritans does not accept face-to-face visitors.

There are opportunities to volunteer for Cambridge Samaritans. Visit their website to find out more.
