Cambridge Samaritans

Back to Support

Samaritans is a nationwide charity available round the clock, every single day of the year. Whatever you’re going through, you can call them on 116 123. Samaritans volunteers will listen to you in confidence and without judgment.

Jon’s story:

Cambridge Samaritans is part of a national network of 201 Samaritans branches.  It has over 180 volunteers that as well as providing the 24 hour listening service, work in schools and colleges, help homeless people via organisations such as Wintercomfort and support the residents of Littlehey Prison.

Cambridge Samaritans is an independent, local charity completely run and staffed by volunteers. It has a building in the heart of Cambridge from which it supports Cambridge & the surrounding area (including South Cambridgeshire).

Visit their website for more information and to find out when they can welcome face-to-face callers.
