How Are You Cambridge – Local Resources

Back to Support

How Are You Cambridge is a website introducing local activities and services that boost health and wellbeing.

Meet Kathryn, the local coordinator for How Are You Cambridge:

How Are You (H.A.Y.) Cambridge is a website that introduces you to local activities and services that boost health and wellbeing. It is one of six websites covering each district in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough – find out more here.

We know that trying a new activity or accessing a service for the first time can be quite a daunting experience. How Are You Cambridge aims to reassure you by providing information about what to expect the first time you go, and including videos, photos and introductions to the people you might meet.

Here’s a video showing how our websites work and how you can find what you are looking for:

If you’d like your group, activity or service to be included on the How Are Cambridge website:

If you lead a group or activity, or provide a service that supports health and wellbeing, you may have already been contacted by a member of the How Are You team, or you may have come across us on Facebook or at a local event.

Kathryn is the coordinator for How Are You Cambridge. If you’d like your group, activity or service to feature on the website, Kathryn can have a chat with you online or visit you face-to-face. At this meeting she’ll tell you more about How Are You Cambridgeshire & Peterborough and give you a demonstration of how the websites work so you can use them for yourself or with someone you support. Following this meeting she may ask you to complete a form as well as email photos, videos, logos or weblinks.

It is helpful if you can record a short video introducing yourself and your activity. Find out more about how to do this by watching the video below:

If you would like to arrange a meeting or send us information about your group, activity, organisation or service, you can contact us here.

If you what you do is good for wellbeing but is time-limited and isn’t available all the time (for example an annual event, festival or workshop) we may promote it on the How Are You Cambridge Facebook page rather than creating a webpage.
