Invigorate – fitness activities

Back to Support

The ‘Invigorate’ programme provides weekly low cost and free activities specifically for mental health service users and adults wishing to improve their well-being through exercise.

The Invigorate programme is a range of free and low-cost activity sessions aiming to help anybody who is experiencing anxiety, depression or other mental ill health. Most of the sessions take place near the city centre. A trainer will be present at all sessions to help encourage you to be physically active and to have a go.

Activities on offer include:

  • Multi-sport sessions
  • Tai chi
  • Yoga for Health
  • Wellbeing walks
  • Guided walks around Cambridge University Botanic Garden

Some of the sessions are free to attend and others have a small charge. You are welcome to bring friends, family or support workers with you to any of the activities – they will need to pay the same as you do, if there is a charge.

Visit the website for more information about the activities and how to book your place.
