This service is accessed via referral from your GP.
The service offers help for those over the age of 65 years with more complex mental health problems (such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, bi-polar depression) and/or memory problems.
They offer assessments and interventions with different staff depending on your needs. This can include psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and support workers.
They work together to help to try to improve your mental wellbeing. The sort of help you may be offered can include medication, psychological therapy (as an individual or as a group), occupational interventions, and interventions by nurses. They may see you in a clinic, at home, on the phone or with a video call depending on your needs.
