What to expect

If you worry about your risk of falling, Steady On Your Feet Cambridgeshire and Peterborough can help to increase your confidence. You will find lots of simple tips to stay active, independent, and safe during your everyday activities whilst reducing your risk of falls.

When you visit the website, you will be invited to complete a self-assessment tool. You will be asked a series of questions, which should only take a few minutes to complete. You can use the self-assessment tool yourself or ask someone you know to help. Answering as many questions as possible will create a personalised action plan that is tailored to you. Your personalised action plan can be downloaded to your personal computer or smartphone, or you can request a copy via email.  You can then print it out and share with friends, family or health professionals. There is no need to sign in or register your details to use the self-assessment tool or receive a personalised action plan.

On the website there is also a range of information about local services, how to support your general health and wellbeing, staying active, living independently and home safety.  There are videos you can watch with exercises to keep you active whatever your age or ability - click on this link to take a look.
