FCN helps farmers and their families during difficult times and periods of change. It provides a listening ear and free, confidential support through its county volunteers, who have backgrounds in farming and understand your concerns, and can help on a range of issues.

What to expect:
Whether the issue is personal or business-related, the Farming Community Network (FCN) is here for you. They run a confidential, national telephone helpline and e-helpline which is open every day of the year from 7am to 11pm, and their volunteers provide free, confidential support to anyone who seeks help. Over 10,000 people a year benefit from FCN’s support and they can help with a variety of issues.
FNC volunteers will provide you support by:
- listening to your concerns and challenges
- visiting you
- accompanying
- helping you to find advice
- explaining
- delivering training and awareness-raising sessions
When you ring they will:
- listen
- not judge
- keep information confidential
- only do what you want them to do
- agree the next steps with you
You can contact FCN either by ringing 03000 111 999 or by emailing help@fcn.org.uk. Calls will be answered in person from 7am to 11pm every day of the year.
