Wintercomfort provides a wide range of support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Services include housing advice, employment support, women’s services, counselling, access to health services, and activities to promote wellbeing.

What to expect

Wintercomfort is an information, advice, training and support centre in Cambridge for those who are homeless or vulnerably housed. It is open daily throughout the year.

It provides essential welfare support for those most in need including free meals, laundry services and access to showers for rough sleepers. The team also provides expert housing advice and support for those seeking accommodation to secure and maintain a place to live.

Wintercomfort also offers a wide range of other support including learning, training and employment opportunities, specialist counselling and therapy, debt advice, women’s services, access to health services, and sports and wellbeing activities.

Anyone experiencing homelessness or facing difficulties with their housing situation can get in touch with Wintercomfort by filling in the online form on their website, phoning the centre on 01223 518140 or visiting in person. If people are currently housed but needing support relating to issues of homelessness, a prior appointment is recommended.
