C3 Impact – Community Support from the C3 Church

What to expect

C3 Impact projects and programmes are open to people from the church community and also everyone from the wider local community. People of all faiths and none are welcome to attend.

Currently they offer Hub days which offer particular services on those days: anybody is welcome to attend for conversation and companionship. These groups are free to attend. Details below.

• Wednesday Impact Hub – 11.30am – 1.30pm: Crafting table and support to access grants, food provision, sign-posting and employment advice.
• All Nations Café – Wednesday 10am – 12pm: A group aimed at those whose first language is not English. An opportunity to meet new people, take part in conversational English, and gain support and understanding around getting established within the UK. The C3 Church also run weekly English language lessons on Wednesday evenings.
• Impact Community Space –  Wednesday 6-7.30pm: Hot soup, baguettes and sweet treats are provided free of charge. Charging ports and games are also available.
• Food Truck Fridays – at the Friday Impact Hub 12pm-2pm: An opportunity to enjoy a hot cooked meal with others. Free of charge, donations are accepted if you are able to give. Support to access grants,  signposting and employment advice.

The C3 Church also run wellbeing courses on a range of topics. Details of upcoming courses can be found on their website.

One of the courses available is inclusive community fitness sessions with Fitness Rush on Wednesday mornings. You can read more about Fitness Rush on this page.

C3 are also able to provide employment support. You can receive help with identifying your skills, building confidence, searching job sites, creating or updating your CV, writing cover letters and preparing for interviews.
