What to expect
You might be finding you are drinking or using drugs too much, that your use is affecting you and others around you negatively, or that you are in recovery looking for some extra help. You are not alone.
The Edge Recovery Group meet on Mondays 12-1pm in the Hayman Room inside the Edge Cafe. The group is for anyone aged 18+ experiencing drug and alcohol issues and those in recovery. You are very welcome to attend, whether you are looking for support and advice or just a friendly chat. You can share your experiences with the group if you wish, or you are also welcome to just sit and listen if you prefer.
The group is free without any referral needed. You can attend as many or as few sessions as you like.
There is no need to book, simply go along to the Edge Cafe at 12pm. Staff will be able to direct you to the Hayman Room. The group facilitator will welcome you and invite you to take a seat around the table. It is recommended to arrive on time but don’t worry if you are late, just go along anyway. The session is until 1pm but you can leave at any point.
If you are bringing someone with you, they should wait for you in the café area.
You can contact Gail the Recovery Hub Manager about any enquiries regarding the group. Contact her on 07848 871323 or [email protected]
